Space Compass and NTT DOCOMO, INC. jointly announced today that they have successfully completed data connectivity tests between the LTE base station and smartphones using high-altitude platform stations (HAPS) from the stratosphere (altitudes of around 20 km) in Laikipia County, Kenya.
